lol very much agreed myra aragorn..yes aragorn son of arathorn and Gilraen, with elven blood for the first of his race had elves:) he was 87 when frodo left the shire and he lived for thrice the span of lives of men in middle earth and in 120 in the fourth age he went with arwen to the house of kins in silent street and gave back the gift of his long life, even though this greived arwen much. she then left her home after saying farewell for the last time and went to the woods of lothlorien, now faded and empty. the following winter she lay her self upon cereth amon and she passed on and there her evergreen grave should remain until all the world had changed and all that had once been was lost. (yeah i know alot about arwen and aragorn lol. i shorted it alot)

Yeah totally agree...I talked about this to a friends. I said that Aragorn is a very classical hero....ye know going to battle, skilled with the blade, handsome..... But I like Frodo much more because he's a hero in another way.... Ye know what I mean? Yes, I know exactly what you mean. ;D Aragorn was brought up to become a king and I'm sure he knows a thing or two about warfare. It's easy to be a hero when you're skilled with the blade. As for the hobbits... They know nothing about the world outside their native Shire, and they don't have the skills needed to cope with the dangers associated with this kind of mission, quest, thing. They just keep on keeping on, and I think THAT is a definition of heroism. To consistently plod on a chosen path is more heroic than whipping the living snot out of the bad guys. Just like Myra, I have nothing against Aragorn. He's handsome, noble, intelligent... everything a girl wants. (Heck, I'd marry him if he asked me to! ). But I still like Frodo more. He's a silent hero. My kind of a hero. *is struck with a sudden urge to hug Frodo*

my hero's are the ones that gave their life for their cause. they didnt have to fight, they could have fled, they died defending all that they held dear on this good earth...(i just quoted part of aragorns speach didnt i? lol). and indeed aragorn is skilled with a blade after all he was 87 when the ring left the shire and had been through many battles and wars.
